El-Aged Care LTD GTE, in collaboration with the Nigerian Christian Graduate Fellowship and African Vision Tract House Society, successfully orchestrated the Mbano Medical Mission from December 6th to 8th, 2023. This monumental event saw an overwhelming turnout, with more than 584 individuals seeking medical assistance. Notably, the mission included over 105 surgeries dedicated to addressing various eye problems among the attendees.
Hailing from Jos, a team of dedicated doctors brought their expertise to Mbano, ensuring that those in need received the essential surgeries. The medical mission extended its reach to the Amarakwu marketplace, ensuring that the benefits of the program reached as many people as possible. Participants of all ages, from children to youths and older individuals, were in attendance, reflecting the inclusive and impactful nature of the mission.
One of the highlights of the Mbano Medical Mission was the transformative impact on individuals who underwent surgery. Numerous heartfelt testimonials poured in from those who, before the medical intervention, faced challenges with their vision. Now, thanks to the surgical procedures and treatments administered during the mission, these individuals have experienced a significant improvement in their sight. It is worth noting that all medical services provided were entirely free of charge, further underscoring the commitment of the organizers to the well-being of the community.
Gratitude resonated throughout the Mbano community as participants expressed their heartfelt thanks to the organizers and, indeed, to the Almighty for the life-changing impact of the medical mission. The provision of free glasses, medications, and comprehensive medical checkups added an extra layer of support to the community’s well-being.
