Company, care and connection during the day
Our adult day care service provides opportunities for ageing family members in the community to socialise with other older adults, helping avoid social isolation. Participants visit the centre for social activities, peer support, companionship and recreation.
The centre operates Mondays to Fridays during the day, run by trained, friendly and experienced staff committed to making every visit enjoyable.
What happens at the centre
Personal & social care
Personal care provision, plus social care services offered on a consultation basis.
Health monitoring
Routine health monitoring with consultation from registered medical personnel, plus health education and promotion.
Therapeutic activities
Physiotherapy and other therapeutic activities that support mobility and wellbeing.
Transportation assistance
Assistance with arranging transportation to and from the care centre.
Supervised socialising
Supervised social activities focused largely on social interaction and companionship.
Exercise programs
Guided exercise programs designed for older adults' safety and mobility.
A hub of energy and joy
Every day at El-Aged Care, our doors open with one purpose: to care, to comfort, and to restore dignity to those who have given so much to life. Older persons from nearby villages come here daily for health checks, light exercise, games and therapy sessions — they sing, dance and learn new skills.
Volunteers, often young people we call Friends of the Elderly, help lead activities, serve meals and offer companionship. By late afternoon, the centre feels like a lively community square, full of laughter, movement and renewed life.
